Since June 12 to June 13, 2018, the SECOND REGIONAL SEERC CONFERENCE of 2018 countries of South-Eastern Europe "ENERGY SECURITY AND INNOVATIONS", organized by the International Council for Large Electric Power Systems CIGRE * in Ukraine, was held in the "Parkovy" Congress and Exhibition Center in Kiev.
International Council for High Voltage Electrical Systems in 2018 awarded with the title of "Honorary Member of CIGRE" to Kontorovich Leonid Nisonovich, Technical Director of "Zaporozhtransformator" PrJSC.
The decision to award with the rank is taken every two years and makes the special mention of the significant contribution of the members of electric power industry of various states to improvement of the world-side electric power industry.
The title of "Honorary Member of CIGRE" was established in 1996. Important criteria for its conferment are long-term - than 10 years - experience of the membership in this international organization and authorship of a large number of reports. Conferment of the title "Honorary Member of CIGRE" is the recognition of merit and increases the authority of Ukrainian scientists and the national manufacturer of electric power equipment within international professional community.
In the list of Honorary Members, Leonid Nisonovich divides the championship with the world leaders in the electric power industry, thereby confirming the high level of development of Ukrainian electric power industry as well as of “Zaporozhtransformator” PrJSC, whose interests are represented by Leonid Nisonovich.
