Testing of two transformers rated for 40 MVA/110kV for Hydraulic Power Complex “Vartsikhe HPP”, Georgia, has been successfully completed at “Zaporozhtransformator” PrJSC (ZTR).

In November 2017 the Customer selected the supplier of the transformers. Besides “Zaporozhtransformator” PrJSC (ZTR), Chinese and Turkish manufacturers of the transformer equipment took part in the tendering process. Considering the serious competition, the victory awarded to "ZTR" PrJSC became highly considerable. Due to well-coordinated teamwork, ZTR manufactured the transformers ahead of the schedule and had already successfully completed their testing.

Testing of the transformers were witnessed by the representative of final Customer - Technical Director of “Vartsikhe HPP”. As a result, the test report was signed without any comment.
Shipment of transformers from the ZTR is scheduled for late February - early March 2018.
Immediately after arrival of the transformers to Georgia, the Customer will perform the installation of the transformers at the substation with mandatory presence of supervision engineer of "ZTR" PrJSC .
Commissioning of new substation is planned for the first quarter of 2018.

ZTR team is grateful to the power engineers for their trust and in the future hopes for development of fruitful collaboration with Georgian company-customer and receipt of new mutually beneficial orders.
