ZTR has successfully tested reactors for Georgia

“Zaporozhtransformator” PJSC (ZTR) has successfully tested 3 reactors rated for 60 MVAr, 500 kV for new substation Jvari (Georgia). Based on terms of the Contract, ZTR should in all manufacture and supply for the substation 7 units of equipment with total capacity 848 MVA: 4 autotransformers 167 MVA, 500kV, and 3 reactors.

Testing of the first reactor were carried out with witness of General Contractor – the largest power company of Portugal “EFACEC”. As a result the test report was signed without remarks.

The main technical condition at manufacture of the equipment was conformity of transformers and reactors with level of seismic stability with consideration of geographic position of the substation site. Owing to professional competence of “ZTR” PJSC specialists, all engineering parameters have been considered.

Transformers and reactors will be supplied in ZTR in full scope at the end of  IV quarter of the year 2015.
