Reactor for Rovno NPP has become the 1000-th unit manufactured within the years of independence of Ukraine

"ZTR" PJSC (ZTR) has shipped 3 reactors rated for 10 MVA, 750 kV, for Rovno NPP. Among the reactors shipped there is the 1000 nos. of the transformer equipment manufactured by ZTR, to be install at the power facilities of Ukraine within the years of independence.

In total, over the years, ZTR has manufactured and delivered more than 160,000 units of transformer equipment to 86 countries around the world. Ukrainian energy is equipped with ZTR transformers and reactors for 98%, and all of them are operated reliably, despite of the fact that most have already exceeded their standard service life.

The reactors are supplied as part of reconstruction project for the bays №1, 2 of outdoor switchgear 750 kV at Rovno NPP due to connection of new power transmission line 750 kV "Rovno NPP – “Kiev” substation. The Customer is the separate subdivision "Atomcomplekt", which is a part of NAEC "Energoatom".

Within execution of the Contract, ZTR specialists have improved the standard design of shunt reactor. As a result, the cooling system was optimized, and this improved significantly the equipment serviceability and efficiency. Along with this, the reactors correspond completely to the customer specifications.

The reactors 110 MVA 750 kV were successfully tested in presence of the representatives of Rovno Nuclear Power Plant. At the moment the ordered equipment has been shipped to Povno NPP in full scope with consideration of the conditions required.
