ZTR dispatches the transformers to Uruguay

«Zaporozhtransformator» PJSC (ZTR) is shipping the equipment for State power company Administración Nacional de Usinas y Trasmisiones Eléctricas (UTE), Uruguay.

Under the terms of the contract, ZTR will supply 4 transformers and 4 autotransformers rated for 83,3 МVА, 500 kV. The equipment is purposed for operation at the substations «Melo» and «Salto Grande» in Uruguay.

Before, ZTR has manufactured and supplied 10 similar autotransformers rated for 83,3 МVА 500 kV for UTE. The order has been completed within a record undertime and at high technical level. The Client still successfully operates ZTR transformers.

The special feature of the present contract is a supply of unique monitoring system, developed by «Zaporozhtransformator» PJSC, to foreign countries. Therefore, the organization of training as for operation of the transformers and related equipment became one of the Client conditions under the new contract. Within a week, ZTR specialists carried out trainings for UTE employees.

At the moment, all 8 transformers have been successfully dispatched to the port by means of the 120 tons conveyor.
