ZTR will manufacture 7 reactors for India

PJSC «Zaporozhtransformator» (ZTR) being in consortium with the Indian Crompton Greaves Company has signed new contract with the State Network Company – Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd – for delivery of reactors. The equipment rated for voltage 765 kV is purposed for Wardha and Aurangabad Substations.

ZTR will manufacture for India one reactor ROM-80000/765 and six reactors ROM-110000/765. The rest part of order – 10 reactors ROM-80000/765 – will be manufactured at plant of the Indian partner basing on ZTR technology.

In November, 2011 Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd Company held tendering arising the rigid demands related to delivery terms and technical requirements. ZTR along with Crompton Greaves Company gained the tendering. «Such companies as AREVA (India), TBEA (China), Baoding (China) were participated in tendering for delivery of 17 reactors for India along with our consortium, – noticed Mr. Alexander Tsier, Sales Director of PJSC «ZTR».  – ZTR received the order due to careful studying of the price components, execution of technical requirements as well as well coordinated work of the Company design department. The tender of PJSC «Zaporozhtransformator» was resulted the most profitable».     

Therefore, ZTR continues the tradition of collaboration with the Company “Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd”. The first deliveries of similar reactors for India were carried out in January and August, 2011.    

Dispatch of the equipment is scheduled for February, 2013.
